Tea Roman is a custodian of the Shakuhachi (Zen Flute).
The Shakuhachi has direct connection to the Zen lineage, at one point in history enjoying a dedicated school of Zen practice. Tea offers a Zazen Session with Suizen (blowing meditation) – in laymen speech it is a Zazen practice with the contemplative sounds of the Shakuhachi Flute. The session includes a brief discussion regarding the history of the flute and it’s relation to Zen.
When: Saturday October 19th – 2 to 3 pm. Please arrive at least 5 minutes in advance.
