Zen Mindfulness for Busy People
Four-Week Course Begins October 23, 2019
We live in a world in which we are bombarded by information and have many demands on our time. This often causes stress and anxiety to build and it becomes even more important to stop, turn off the electronics, and notice what is going on and how we contribute to our own suffering.
This course will present four different mindfulness meditation exercises that help clarify the mind and relax and center the physical body. It will include both discussion and exercises, and will assign homework that will aid you in establishing a regular meditation practice on your own or with a group.
The meditation takes place on cushions or in chairs, so anyone can participate, regardless of age or physical condition. This is a series, but each session can be taken individually.
Led by Andy Solis, Zen teacher, attorney, former professional athlete, and long-time mindfulness practitioner. Where: Open Mind Zen Center, 1250 Tamiami Trail North, Suite 205, Naples, Florida 34102
