Debra Johnson is passionate about the study of yoga. Her studies have led her to study in Pune, India at the Ramani Iyengar Institute on several occasions totalling 22 months of study with amazing teachers. She has been teaching for 20 years and the joy of dispersing the knowledge never wanes… she can teach you from the beginning and assist you in progressing to a mature and safe daily practice. She has been working within a studio setting since 1999 and feels this provides the best experience as it is quiet and the practice of those before lingers and assists in the depth of learning in the present moment. Debra has recently deepened her studies of yoga by living in ashrams in Rishikesh and Uttarakashi studying the Upanishads, Patanjali yoga sutras and the Bhagavadgita with Swamini Pramandanda and Siddhartha Krishna.
